Pokémon GO’s Fashion Week Serves Up Fierce, Fabulous, Fetch Costumed Pokémon
Event bonuses, a Collection Challenge, and Field Research—but make it fashion.
Pokémon GO’s Fashion Week is giving haute cute-ure through November 19, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time. New costumed Pokémon—including Dragonite, Wooper, and Quagsire—will stomp the world-wide runway, appearing in the wild and in raids. During this time, Trainers can earn twice the Candy for catching Pokémon, and Trainers Level 31 and above have an increased chance of receiving Candy XL when catching Pokémon.

Flex your finest fits—and knowledge of Pokémon—by taking on Fashion Week–themed Field Research tasks and a Collection Challenge. Completing Field Research tasks will earn you encounters with Pokémon wearing fashionable costumes, including Butterfree, Diglett, Wooper, Kirlia, Shinx, and Blitzle. Trainers who complete the Collection Challenge will earn an encounter with Dragonite wearing a fashionable costume, XP, and Stardust.

Paid Timed Research
A Fashion Week–themed Timed Research will be available for $2 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency).
Complete the research tasks to earn encounters with various Pokémon wearing costumes and two Premium Battle Passes!
Wild encounters
The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild.
Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Gothita—if you’re lucky!
Raids
The following Pokémon will appear in raids.
Eggs
The following Pokémon will hatch from 5 km Eggs. Gothita hatched from Eggs will have a greater chance of being a Shiny Pokémon than Gothita found in the wild.
Field Research task encounters
Fashion Week–themed Field Research tasks will be available!
The following Pokémon will be available to encounter when you complete Field Research tasks.
Collection Challenge
A Fashion Week–themed Collection Challenge is coming!
Complete the Collection Challenge to receive an encounter with Dragonite wearing a fashionable costume, XP, and Stardust.
