Party Up with Party Play and Paldean Pals in Pokémon GO
The Party Up event celebrates Party Play and Pokémon first discovered in the Paldea region with excellent event bonuses.
Pokémon GO is fighting for your right to party with Party Up, an event celebrating Party Play and the recent arrival of Pokémon originally discovered in the Paldea region. Through November 27, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time, your squad can join the party with event bonuses, Timed Research, Special Research, and plenty of Pokémon first found in Paldea. Paint the town red with event bonuses that include up to five Special Trades per day, two additional Candy for trading Pokémon, guaranteed Candy XL for Trainers Level 31 and above for trading Pokémon, and double XP for winning Raid Battles. Pokémon appearing more frequently in the wild will include Gothita, Solosis, Morelull, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, Lechonk, Nymble, Pawmi, Smoliv, and Tadbulb.
Use Party Play to join a party and maximize damage when taking on the following Pokémon appearing in raids.
- One-Star Raids
- Hisuian Growlithe
- Nosepass
- Dwebble
- Klink
- Lechonk
- Three-Star Raids
- Rhydon
- Pelipper
- Gardevoir
- Bombirdier
- Five-Star Raids
- Terrakion
- Mega Raids
- Mega Kangaskhan
Research
Rock on with research including Timed Research, Field Research, and Special Research. Trainers that didn’t complete the Season-long Timed Investigation have the opportunity to earn a Master Ball for completing the paid Special Research story. Timed Research will focus on Party Play activities—Trainers who complete the tasks will earn a Charged TM, a Lucky Egg, a Premium Battle Pass, encounters with Wurmple wearing a party hat and Hisuian Growlithe, and more. Complete Field Research tasks to earn encounters with event Pokémon.

Start the party everywhere you go with Party Play
Get ready to round up your squad during the Party Up event! Party Play lets a group of four Trainers level 15 and above adventure together as a party. See your friends’ avatars on your in-game map, take on Party Challenges, and lean into your Party Power.

A Special Research story awarding a Master Ball will be available to purchase for Trainers who did not complete the Season-long Timed Investigation.
