Nate (Champion) & Haxorus Arrive for a Champion-Level Event in Pokémon Masters EX

This heroically dressed Trainer from the Unova region returns with a new Pokémon partner.

Nate, one of the main characters from Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2, is gracing Pasio with a stylish new look and a new partner Pokémon to match. Nate (Champion) & Haxorus star in Pokémon Masters EX’s Neo Champions: A Pure and Touching Heart, which wraps December 30, 2023. Playing through this event will earn you gems and Event Vouchers X, which can be exchanged for an Ever Pin, a Strike Move Candy Coin, a Special Skill Feather 9, and many other useful items.

Nate (Champion) & Haxorus

Nate (Champion) & Haxorus are a Dragon-type physical strike sync pair that work especially well with other sync pairs from the Unova region. Their Unova and Unova Adventurer theme skills raise the Attack and Sp. Atk of all allied sync pairs when two or more of their teammates have either the Unova or Unova Adventurer theme skills. Plus, their Unova Pride passive skill powers up the physical attack moves of all allied sync pairs and reduces physical attack move damage taken by all allied sync pairs. The more allied sync pairs with the Unova theme skill you have on your team, the greater Unova Pride’s boosts become.

Then there’s the pair’s Unova Passion move, which applies Unova Circle (Physical) to the allied field of play. Unova Circle (Physical) powers up the physical attack moves and physical sync moves of all allied sync pairs while reducing physical attack move and physical sync move damage taken by all allies. Like the duo’s Unova Pride passive skill, those boosts get better and better when there are more sync pairs with the Unova theme skill on your team. Once you’ve raised Nate (Champion) & Haxorus’s Attack stat, you can unleash Dark Black Outrage, which never misses and reduces the sync move countdown by one.

For more details on this sync pair’s passive skills and moves, check out the chart below or their in-game sync pair scout screen. Nate (Champion) & Haxorus are available to scout until January 10, 2024, at 9:59 p.m. PST.
