Pokémon GO World of Wonders Weather Week event features Castform, event bonuses, new Collection Challenge and more, full event details revealed

Niantic is continuing to announce new events and content for Pokémon GO. Read on below to learn more:

Take a Breath of Fresh Air with Pokémon GO’s Weather Week

Castform, event bonuses, and a Collection Challenge are coming, rain or shine.

Whether you love sunny days or drizzly skies, Pokémon GO’s Weather Week, running March 14, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to March 18, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time, is serving up something for everyone. There are event bonuses for every forecast as Trainers that catch Pokémon with a Weather Boost will earn extra Stardust, all Trainers will earn double Stardust for catching Pokémon, and there’s an increased chance of encountering Shiny Castform! Completing the Weather Week–themed Collection Challenge might not be a breeze, but it’s certainly worth the effort for the opportunity to earn Stardust and an Incense.

Pokémon appearing more frequently in the wild include Paras, Lickitung, Drifloon, Helioptile, and Amaura. The following Pokémon will appear more frequently if the weather conditions are favorable:

  • Cacnea (Sunny)
  • Lotad (Rainy)
  • Snover (Snow)
  • Roggenrola (Partly Cloudy)
  • Spritzee (Cloudy)
  • Swablu (Windy)
  • Gastly (Fog)
