Slakoth Wearing a Visor Debuts in Pokémon GO Slumbering Sands Event

Enjoy sleepy summertime vibes with Pokémon known for catching their share of zzz’s.

Trainers interested in expanding their collection of Pokémon wearing stylish headwear are in for a treat with the Pokémon GO Slumbering Sands event. From June 7 at 10:00 a.m. to June 12, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time, Slakoth wearing a visor, Vigoroth wearing a visor, and Slaking wearing a visor will all be available for the first time in Pokémon GO. Keep an eye out for Psyduck, Slowpoke, Drowzee, Mareep, Slakoth wearing a visor, Oranguru, Sandygast, Munna, and Komala.

Complete event-themed Field Research tasks to earn encounters with Psyduck, Drowzee, Mareep, Slakoth wearing a visor, Oranguru, Sandygast, and Komala. Trainers who connect a Pokémon GO Plus + device can enjoy Timed Research opportunities with rewards including Stardust and encounters with Snorlax wearing a nightcap, Slakoth wearing a visor, and Komala.

The event goes yawn with paid Timed Research, which is available for US$2.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Rewards for completing this research include a Komala Backpack avatar item, Stardust, XP, Silver Pinap Berries, encounters with Slakoth wearing a visor and Komala, and more. Trainers must complete the research and claim rewards before June 12, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
