Tandemaus Squeaks into Pokémon GO’s Ultra Unlock Better Together Event
Celebrate friendship, fierce Pokémon, and fun in Pokémon GO.
Teamwork makes the dream work in Pokémon GO’s Ultra Unlock Better Together event, running July 17 at 10:00 a.m. to July 22, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Tandemaus and Maushold make their Pokémon GO debuts, and there’s plenty of exciting bonuses to encourage you to catch as many as you can! Make the most of quadruple Catch XP and double Catch Candy. And, in the spirit of celebrating friendship, throughout the event Friendship levels will increase faster when opening Gifts, trading Pokémon, or battling together.
Wild Pokémon can make excellent friends, and the following Pokémon will appear throughout the event: Vulpix, Alolan Vulpix, Diglett, Alolan Diglett, Meowth, Alolan Meowth, Galarian Meowth, Magneton, Exeggcute, Alolan Exeggutor, Wooper, Paldean Wooper, Zigzagoon, Galarian Zigzagoon, Combee, Klink, and Binacle.
Join friends and family in Raid Battles for the following Pokémon.

There’s no “I” in team, but there is in “free Timed Research”! Take on event-themed Timed Research during the event to earn XP, Stardust, and encounters with Tandemaus and event-themed Pokémon. Complete event-themed Field Research tasks to earn encounters wiah Slowpoke, Galarian Slowpoke, Voltorb, Hisuian Voltorb, Koffing, Combee, Darumaka, Galarian Darumaka, Vanillite, Deino, and Tandemaus.

Pokémon Debuts
Tandemaus, the Couple Pokémon, and Maushold, the Family Pokémon, will make their Pokémon GO debuts!
You can use 50 Tandemaus Candy to evolve Tandemaus into Maushold.
Starting with the Better Together event, you will also be able to catch Tandemaus in Party Play encounters—if you’re lucky!
