For this edition of FanArt Friday, Pokémon Blog is delighted to showcase the art of the incredibly talented Alejandro, also known as Crazy World Games. Our artist has also participated in the third and sixth generations of Pokédex Ilustrada, the ambitious project organized by the dream team at Ilustradoras Unidas.
Alejandro defines art as his moment of disconnection from reality: “It’s a moment of freedom, a chance to release the things I carry inside. Art has the gift of immersing us in a world of peace and pure magic.”
Pokémon has accompanied our artist since childhood.
“It’s a world where we’d all love to live. The franchise has given me so many laughs, new friends, and people who share the same interests over the years,” he expressed.
Alejandro feels very lucky to be able to devote his time to creating art and drawing the creatures he has loved since he was a child, as it makes everything easier.
“The only difficult aspect is that I’m a perfectionist and try to draw many details of the Pokémon instead of just drawing it and enjoying the process,” he shared with the Pokémon Blog Team.
Speaking about Pokémon, his favorite is none other than Bulbasaur: “He was simply the first Pokémon I ever had, and I like to believe that he’s my lifelong partner.”
