Pokémon Pokopia Reveals New Underwater Features in Bubbly Basin Expansion

Nintendo has shared new details about Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass Part 1: Bubbly Basin, revealing that players will explore the underwater community of Bubbly Basin alongside Popplio while completing requests from local Pokémon to gradually expand and develop the town. The update introduces watermelons as a new crop that can be grown in underwater fields by using Pokémon with the Water specialty to create air bubbles for seedlings, while buoyant building blocks allow players to construct multi-level underwater towns with assistance from Pokémon that specialize in building. The expansion also adds Pokémon with the Generate specialty, enabling players to power underwater machinery such as streetlights and bubble machines to bring more life to the growing seaside settlement.
