Pokémon GO’s Ultra Unlock: Water Festival is now underway, bringing aquatic-themed encounters, raids and bonuses to Trainers worldwide from Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. through Aug. 24 at 8 p.m. local time. The event marks the Pokémon GO debuts of Cramorant and Arrokuda, with Arrokuda also being attracted by Rainy Lure Modules, while Psyduck, Goldeen, Mareanie, Wimpod and other Water-type Pokémon appear more frequently in the wild. Trainers can also encounter Feebas, Clamperl and biome-specific Wiglett, with increased chances of finding Shiny Ducklett and Shiny Dewpider. Raids feature regional forms of Tatsugiri, Psyduck wearing a swim ring, Lapras wearing a scarf, Hisuian Samurott and Dondozo, with some offering chances to encounter Shiny Pokémon. Event bonuses include increased XP and Stardust from catching Pokémon, while the free GO Pass: Water Festival offers additional rewards including 2× Catch Candy at Tier 1 and half Egg Hatch Distance at Tier 2. A GO Pass Deluxe upgrade costs $4.99, while GO Pass Deluxe + 6 Ranks costs $6.99 and immediately advances Trainers to Rank 7. GO Pass rewards must be claimed by Aug. 26 at 8 p.m. local time.
