Pokémon GO Fest 2026 continues with Mega Ascension and Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Mega Finale, giving Trainers more opportunities to battle Mega-Evolved Pokémon. Mega Ascension runs Aug. 31 through Sept. 4, followed by Mega Finale Sept. 5-6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time. Mega Mewtwo X will return to Mega Raids Sept. 5, followed by Mega Mewtwo Y on Sept. 6. Trainers will also be able to take part in rotating Mega Raid habitats, encounter Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution in the wild and access GO Pass: Mega Finale by completing branching Timed Research during Mega Ascension. There will also be no Remote Raid limit during the Sept. 5-6 Mega Finale.
