Pokémon GO has published a new guide explaining how Trainers can find, RSVP to and check in at Community Meetups during Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Mega Finale. The video, released Sept. 1, 2026, highlights an additional incentive for participating, with each day of Community Meetup check-ins during the event granting Timed Research that can reward a Premium Battle Pass, 100 Link Charges and other items. Trainers are also encouraged to help reach a global milestone of 1 million check-ins, which will unlock a code containing a Premium Battle Pass and 10 Ultra Balls.
