Pokémon GO will host Staraptor Super Mega Raid Day on Sept. 19, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time, introducing Mega Staraptor in Super Mega Raids and allowing eligible Pokémon to reach the new Super Max Mega Level for the first time. Mega Staraptor can learn the new Brave Bird+ Charged Attack while Mega Evolved, with the move dealing 70 power in Trainer Battles while lowering the user’s Defense by three stages and 150 power in raids, with its raid power increasing alongside Mega Staraptor’s Mega Level. Trainers must first raise Mega Staraptor to the third Max level before progressing to Super Max, requiring Mega Energy earned through Mega Raids. The event will also feature an increased chance of encountering Shiny Staraptor, up to six free Raid Passes, a remote raid limit of 20 from Sept. 18 at 5 p.m. PDT through Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. PDT and Timed Research offering a Premium Battle Pass and Gardevoir encounter. A $4.99 event ticket adds up to 14 Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances and additional XP and Stardust from Super Mega Raids, while a Pokémon GO Web Store Ultra Ticket Box will include the event ticket and an extra Premium Battle Pass.
