Pokémon GO Staraptor Super Mega Raid Day introduced Mega Staraptor and the Super Max level

Pokémon GO held its Staraptor Super Mega Raid Day on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 2 to 5 p.m. local time, introducing Mega Staraptor to Super Mega Raids and allowing Trainers to raise Mega Staraptor to the new Super Max Mega Level. Staraptor can also learn the new Brave Bird+ Charged Attack while Mega Evolved, with the move dealing 70 power in Trainer Battles while lowering the user’s Defense by three stages and 150 power in raids, with its strength increasing alongside Mega Staraptor’s Mega Level. Trainers must first reach the Max level before advancing to Super Max, requiring additional Mega Energy and participation in Mega Raids rather than Mega Evolving alone. The event also offered increased Shiny Staraptor odds, up to six free Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs and a 20-raid Remote Raid limit during the event period, while Timed Research awarded a Premium Battle Pass and a Gardevoir encounter. A US$4.99 event ticket provided up to 14 Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances and additional XP and Stardust from Super Mega Raids, while the Pokémon GO Web Store offered an Ultra Ticket Box containing the event ticket and an additional Premium Battle Pass.
