Pokémon Sleep’s Mewtwo Event Sends Researchers Into an Unexplored Realm

Pokémon Sleep will launch its two-week Unexplored Realm Research! Pursue Mewtwo event on Sept. 14, giving players a chance to encounter Mewtwo and earn exclusive rewards by investigating a mysterious realm on Greengrass Isle. Running through Sept. 28, the event combines each player’s Personal Drowsy Power with Global Drowsy Power from researchers worldwide to increase Event Drowsy Power, unlock up to 15 event ranks and uncover rewards including Mewtwo DNA and Handy Candy M. Mew and Mewtwo will provide a Drowsy Power bonus while on the team during sleep, with Mewtwo providing an increased 1.3x multiplier during the second week, while Psychic-type Pokémon will receive bonuses to their ingredient yields and main skill activation. Mewtwo will have an increased appearance rate, alongside Natu, Xatu, Espeon, Wobbuffet, Ralts, Kirlia, Gardevoir, Wynaut, Munna and Musharna, depending on the selected Greengrass Isle area.

Players can collect Mewtwo DNA through sleep research, limited-time missions, event ranks and Research Community interactions, then exchange it for Mewtwo Incense, Mewtwo Biscuits, a Main Skill Seed and other items. The event also introduces Very Big Mago Berries, with Mew, Mewtwo and Psychic-type helper Pokémon capable of bringing larger quantities. The event runs at Greengrass Isle and Greengrass Isle (Expert), with Week 1 taking place from Sept. 14 at 4 a.m. to Sept. 21 at 3:59 a.m. and Week 2 continuing until Sept. 28 at 3:59 a.m. Mewtwo DNA can be exchanged through Oct. 1 at 3:59 a.m., while Mewtwo Incense remains usable after the event.
