Pokémon Trading Card Game Live has launched its Study Season event, giving players a limited-time opportunity to practice for upcoming Pokémon Regional Championships while earning free cosmetics and trying new gameplay activities. The event runs from Sept. 3 at 10 a.m. PDT through Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. PDT and includes a new Learning Lab led by Professor Fir that teaches players how to use and prepare for Special Conditions in Pokémon TCG battles. The Bitty Basic Brawl Trainer Trial is also available, featuring 30-card decks with three Prize cards and only Basic Pokémon, while Build & Battle matches will let players experiment with cards from Scarlet & Violet—Twilight Masquerade during the event. Players who log in can claim a mortarboard hat cosmetic and deck accessories commemorating the 2027 competitive season, with additional academic-themed avatar cosmetics available in the in-game shop. The Study Season Battle Board is also returning with a blackboard-inspired design, giving Pokémon TCG Live players several ways to sharpen their skills before the next round of Regional Championships.
