Pokémon GO will host its Gigantamax Cinderace Max Battle Day on Oct. 3, 2026, from 2 to 5 p.m. local time, featuring six-star Max Battles against Gigantamax Cinderace and the first chance to encounter Shiny Gigantamax Cinderace. During the event, the Max Particle collection limit will increase to 1,600, all Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles, Power Spots will refresh more frequently and additional Power Spots will become active, while Trainers will receive eight times the usual Max Particles from Power Spots. Players can also make up to three Special Trades that day, while the Remote Raid limit will increase from 10 to 20 from Oct. 2 at 5 p.m. through Oct. 3 at 8 p.m. PDT. Additional bonuses on Oct. 3 from midnight to 5 p.m. local time include twice as many Max Particles from exploration and one-quarter the usual Adventuring distance required to collect them. A US$4.99 event ticket adds Timed Research with a Max Mushroom, 25,000 XP and 6,400 Max Particles, along with twice the XP from Max Battles, while an Ultra Ticket Box containing the event ticket and 800 Max Particles will also be available through the Pokémon GO Web Store.
