Pokémon GO Wild Area is returning in 2026, with in-person events scheduled for Nov. 6-8 in Sendai, Japan, and Mexico City, Mexico, followed by a global event on Nov. 14-15. Niantic announced the return Sept. 9, confirming that tickets for the in-person Pokémon GO Wild Area events are now on sale. The annual event gives Pokémon GO players an opportunity to take part in special gameplay and activities tied to the Wild Area format, with the global portion allowing Trainers around the world to participate from home.
