The official Pokémon YouTube channel has released a new clip from Pokémon: Indigo League showing the memorable moment when Ash catches Bulbasaur. In the scene, Bulbasaur agrees to join Ash’s team only after challenging him to a Pokémon battle, setting the stage for the Grass-type Pokémon to become one of Ash’s early companions during his journey through the Kanto region. The clip was published Sept. 21, 2026, as part of Pokémon’s ongoing collection of highlights from the original Pokémon anime.
