Minior, the Meteor Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO debut during a series of annual meteor showers, giving players opportunities to encounter the Pokémon in the wild and collect its seven different core colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. Minior will appear in its Meteor Form with increased Defense and reduced Attack until its HP falls below 50%, at which point it will expose its core, gaining higher Attack and lower Defense; initially, this form change will only occur during battles against Team GO Rocket, team leaders or in the GO Battle League, and Minior will not be eligible for the 2027 Latin America International Championships. The Minior Shower schedule begins with the Orionids from Oct. 19 at 5 p.m. through Oct. 24 at 11:59 p.m. local time, followed by the Leonids from Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. through Nov. 19 at 11:59 p.m. and the Geminids from Dec. 11 at 5 p.m. through Dec. 16 at 11:59 p.m., with one core color debuting in the Northern Hemisphere and another in the Southern Hemisphere during each event. The Eta Aquariids will run May 3 at 5 p.m. through May 8 at 11:59 p.m., the Southern Delta Aquariids from July 28 at 5 p.m. through Aug. 2 at 11:59 p.m. and the Perseids from Aug. 10 at 5 p.m. through Aug. 15 at 11:59 p.m. During each Minior Shower, players will receive increased Stardust for catching Minior, while the Explore by Starlight bonus will activate daily from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. local time, filling the in-game sky with shooting stars and increasing the chance of encountering Minior in the wild.
