Niantic is now officially teasing that it will soon increase the Level 40 cap in Pokémon GO

Some of the most dedicated Pokémon GO players have reached level 40 several years ago. Although 40 is currently the peak, this won't be the case for much longer. Developer Niantic will inevitably raise the level cap past 40.
