Omanyte is one of the ancient and long-since-extinct Pokémon that have been regenerated from fossils by people. If attacked by an enemy, it withdraws itself inside its hard shell.

Ability: Shell Armor, which protects the Pokemon from critical hits. Or Swift Swim, which boosts the Pokemon’s Speed stat in rain.

Hidden Ability: Weak Armor, which allows Physical attacks to lower the Pokemon’s Defense stat but sharply raise its Speed stat.

Weaknesses: Grass, Fighting, Ground and Electric

Resistances: Normal, Poison, Ice, Flying and Fire

Immunity: None

Evolutions: It is resurrected from a Helix Fossil and evolves into Omastar starting at level 40.
