Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch purported screenshots confirmed to be fake

The purported screenshots from the unconfirmed Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch game that begun appearing online earlier this week are indeed fake. The images, which depict several Nintendo characters traversing different regions and duking it out on various types of stages, were actually created by Josh Thomas of The Bit Block.
