During his speech at the inaugural Pokémon GO Fest yesterday, July 22, Niantic CEO John Hanke addressed the server issues that players were experiencing and made a comment about how there are already plans for another Pokémon GO Fest in 2018. “Enjoy yourselves, enjoy the park today; we’re gonna get things rolling with the servers,” said Hanke. “Please trust us and be patient with that. Have Fun, let’s make it great because we wanna do this again next year.”
