Nearly 800 million Pokémon caught during the first-ever Pokémon GO Global Catch Challenge

Pokémon GO players have managed to catch nearly 800 million Pokémon during the first-ever Pokémon GO Global Catch Challenge, which officially kicked off earlier this week. Due to this achievement, all Trainers can now earn double XP, Lure Modules will last six hours, and more Pokémon will appear all over the world. As part of the latest Pokémon GO event, each time you capture a Pokémon, you’ll help everyone work toward earning some amazing rewards. More special rewards will be unlocked if players all over the world catch 1.5 billion and even three billion total Pokémon during the event.
