Pokémon GO players have already managed to catch more than 2.5 billion Pokémon during the first-ever Pokémon GO Global Catch Challenge, which officially kicked off last week. All Trainers can now earn double XP, Lure Modules will last for six hours and more Pokémon are appearing all over the world. In addition to the Bronze Tier rewards, all Trainers can now earn double Stardust and even more Pokémon will appear due to attaining the Silver Tier. As part of the latest Pokémon GO event, each time you capture a Pokémon, you’ll help everyone work toward earning some in-game rewards. More special rewards will be unlocked if players all over the world catch three billion total Pokémon during the event.
