Pokémon GO has been updated to version 1.67.2 and 0.97.2 across iOS and Android devices respectively. This update prepares the immensely-popular mobile game for the new research features launching tomorrow, March 30. Official patch notes from the development team at Niantic are as follows:
- Introduced the new Field Research and Special Research feature that encourages Trainers to complete objectives to earn unique rewards.
- Trainers can now discover the Mythical Pokémon Mew for the first time with Special Research!
