Arc System Works recently held a special poll that gave fans a chance to vote on the game they’d like to see president Minoru Kidooka play at EVO 2018. Five games in total were nominated, including two Smash Bros. titles and Super Smash Bros. Melee beat out all choices with nearly half of all total votes. Here’s how the results played out:
Super Smash Bros. Melee – 1,908 votes
Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition – 832 votes
Tekken 7 – 744 votes
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U – 435 votes
Injustice 2 – 319 votes
EVO 2018 will take place between August 3 and August 5.
