Nintendo has a number of activities surrounding the E3 video game trade show in Los Angeles this week. The company recently released an official reference guide to give fans a look at what they can expect, including the Nintendo Direct: E3 2018 video presentation, which is officially taking place today, June 12, at 9 a.m. PT. This presentation will feature games launching in 2018, including the recently announced Super Smash Bros. game for Nintendo Switch. Series creator Masahiro Sakurai has confirmed that he will appear on screen during the broadcast, which you can check out in the embedded video below:

Elsewhere, the E3 Experience at Nintendo NY will be open to the public from June 11 to June 15. According to Nintendo’s director of product marketing manager Bill Trinen, the company will unveil Super Smash Bros. modes, characters and items at E3 next week, but it is planning to reveal other information at a later date. Meanwhile, Nintendo has launched the official page for the game, which will include many more details soon. E3 2018 lanyards feature a number of iconic characters from several Nintendo Switch games.
