All current Super Smash Bros. series amiibo figures are compatible with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and any fighter’s amiibo figure from other series will also be supported. There are several characters that don’t have an amiibo yet, such as Pichu and Pokémon Trainer, but you can rest assured that Nintendo will be releasing amiibo for them as well. Other veteran fighters that will have new amiibo created include Ice Climbers, Snake, Wolf and Young Link. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is set to launch on December 7, exclusively for Nintendo Switch. Existing amiibo will be reprinted in Japan on December 7 as well, including Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Charizard, Lucario and Greninja.
