The Pokémon Company teamed up with the Kagawa prefecture for another collaboration featuring Slowpoke. August 10, 2018, has officially been named Slowpoke Day. As part of this initiative, from August 10 to August 12, a special Pokémon Center location was made available at the Kagawa prefecture, where fans were able to take pictures alongside the official Slowpoke mascot and purchase a slew of merchandise inspired by Slowpoke. New products that were on sale include Slowpoke-themed towels and T-shirts, which are now available for purchase at the Pokémon Center and Amazon Japan. The Pokémon Company also recently unveiled a special music video dedicated to the iconic Dopey Pokémon.
