Niantic recently kicked off a PokéStop nomination feature for Pokémon GO, which has officially entered beta for level 40 players in South Korea and Brazil. This feature is currently limited to level 40 Trainers in Brazil and South Korea. Trainers who meet these initial requirements will be able to nominate potential PokéStops by submitting photographs and descriptions of the locations. Submissions will be reviewed by experienced users in the Ingress Operation Portal Recon (OPR) project. Continue below for a first look and feel for the beta testing in Korea:

The submission successfully worked in Korea. The difference with Ingress is seven submissions per two weeks, input additional surrounding photo, and additional description, the reason why the location is important.
