The wait for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is finally over! The highly-anticipated sequel to Nintendo’s flagship fighting series is out now worldwide, exclusively on Nintendo Switch. Available in stores and on the Nintendo eShop, the game features more than 70 playable characters, including a whopping 10 that happen to be Pokémon. However, you start the game with a mere eight characters in total – in reminiscent of the original Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 64. The official social media accounts for Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog appear to be teaming up to form an formidable Blue Team, and Sonic has asked The Pokémon Company to recruit the oh-so-yellow Pikachu. Despite the obvious color differences, The Pokémon Company has agreed and responded to Sonic’s request:
