The Pokémon Company recently responded to viral tweet asking how Bulbasaur is supposed to wear a hat by jokingly responding with, “Hmm…there’s nothing in the Pokédex about this. We’ll need to check with Professor Oak and get back to you.” The Pokémon Company’s lighthearted message was accompanied by a winking emoji:
