Super Smash Bros. Ultimate sets the record for the highest peak viewership in EVO history for any game

Nintendo fans found plenty to enjoy at the Evolution Championship Series (EVO) 2019 fighting game tournament held Aug. 2-4 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV. This is the first year Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was featured at EVO, and it was the final game on the main stage to close out the event on Aug. 4, Sunday night. MkLeo managed to defeat Tweek and become the Evo 2019 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate champion. Meanwhile, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has set the record for the highest peak viewership in EVO history for any game at over 279,000:
