August 2019 was the best month for Pokémon GO since September 2016

It’s no secret that Pokémon is the most successful and most popular media franchise in the entire world. This fact is only strengthened by how well Pokémon GO is continuing to do in terms of accumulating massive amounts of revenue on a regular basis. In fact, August 2019 was the best month for Pokémon GO since September 2016. The game is set to reach 3 billion gross by the end of 2019. Read on below for more details:

Growth this year has been strong + recent updates pushed in game spend. Just to put that into perspective. $3 billion gross revenue (which will be reached before the end of the year) is equivalent to selling 50 million copies of a game at $60. For reference, Pokemon Let’s Go for Switch sold 11m units at that price. On track to reach $3b gross.”
