DeNA resolves Sync Pair Scout Issue and Compensation Plan in Pokémon Masters

Pokémon Masters, the new strategy and battling game for mobile platforms, is now available for download on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). In celebration of the game’s release, special in-game events and rewards are offered for a limited time.

We conducted emergency maintenance earlier today after confirming that the sync pair Elesa & Zebstrika unintentionally became available through sync pair scouts.
We regret any inconvenience caused by the game being unavailable due to maintenance. We are currently planning compensation for the inconvenience caused.

These are the details of the issue we are currently aware of.

Issue Details

  • The sync pair Elesa & Zebstrika unintentionally became available through sync pair scouts.
  • The sync pair Elesa & Zebstrika was not listed on the Offering Rate screen.

Affected Sync Pair Scouts

  • 5★-Guaranteed Launch Celebration Scout
  • Featured Type Scout
  • Hilda Spotlight Scout

Time Affected

10/15/2019 at 9:48 p.m. – 10/16/2019 at 4:00 a.m.
*We have confirmed that this issue has been resolved.

Resolution

Because there were differences between information shown on the Offering Rate screen and what was actually available through the affected sync pair scouts, we will be returning both paid and non-paid Gems to players who scouted sync pairs from affected sync pair scouts during the affected time period.

Again, we sincerely regret any inconvenience caused.
We will be following up with more details regarding the issue, and details regarding compensation, in a later announcement.
