A brand-new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate presentation officially took place on January 16 starting. Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses has been announced as DLC fighter 5 during the video presentation. During the presentation, director Masahiro Sakurai also announced that six more playable fighters will be added as new DLC.
