Saturday update for Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas
Trainers,
We apologize for the gameplay issues currently impacting Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas Saturday ticket holders. We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve the issue.
As a result of this issue, all Saturday Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas ticket holders and those who purchased an Extra Day Add-On for Saturday will receive the following.
Tonight, February 18, 2023, the city event experience will be extended throughout Las Vegas for three extra hours from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. PST, and include additional Primal Raids and wild Pokémon encounters. Please note that event gameplay will not be available within Sunset Park past the original event hours.
As an additional thank-you for your patience, a bundle will be available in the in-game shop through February 19, 2023, at 10:00 p.m. PST at no cost. The bundle will contain three Premium Raid Passes and three Remote Raid Passes.
Please be aware of your surroundings and follow guidelines from local health authorities when playing Pokémon GO. Upcoming events are subject to change. Be sure to follow us on social media, opt in to receiving push notifications, and subscribe to our emails to stay updated.

Update 2/18/2023: In celebration of Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn, all Pokémon GO players can now redeem three codes to unlock new Timed Research to get Regirock (6X4H9UCA8F7TT), Regice (YKG5ZPC4SLXAX) and Registeel (6AKRAV5WJN5FS).
A Special Research story only available to ticket–holding Trainers is coming to Las Vegas! Ever wondered what it would be like to work with Team GO Rocket? Trainers at Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas will be able to take part in an exclusive adventure and work alongside the Team GO Rocket Leaders for the very first time! Have they changed their ways? New data is coming in that has Professor Willow stumped—it looks like Trainers taking part in Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas* will have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon originally discovered in the Hoenn region!
*Ticket-holding Trainers at the in-person event in Las Vegas may have increased luck in encountering Shiny Pokémon. Shiny Pokémon are not guaranteed by purchasing a ticket.
Secret codes will be hidden throughout Sunset Park. Find them to earn the chance for encounters with Legendary Pokémon.
Tip: Take advantage of the event’s nine bonus daily Raid Passes! For even more Raid Passes, you can purchase the Raid Lover add-on and increase the number of free daily Raid Passes you can earn during the event to 18 per day! Ticket add-ons are active for both the Saturday and Sunday of Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas.
Tip: Take advantage of Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn’s 1/2 Egg Distance bonus—you can upgrade your ticket with the Egg-thusiast add-on to unlock a 1/4 Hatch Distance bonus during the event! Ticket add-ons are active for both the Saturday and Sunday of Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn.
Encounter Latias or Latios, the Eon Pokémon, during your Hoenn adventure! Take a snapshot of Latias (Sapphire badge) or Latios (Ruby badge) in the wild to earn another encounter with Latias or Latios!
Take snapshots during the event—you may see surprise appearances from Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip, the first partner Pokémon of the Hoenn region!
Complete Timed Research for encounters with Spinda, the Spot Panda Pokémon!
Collect Mega Energy and catch Ghost-type Pokémon with new Field Research tasks! Trainers with a ticket will have a boosted chance of receiving this research.
Make the most of these event bonuses with additional add-on bonuses! You can purchase Egg-thusiast, Raid Lover, and Sunday/Saturday Pass add-ons!

Purchasing a Ticket to Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas
Tickets to Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas are now available for purchase! One ticket costs USD$25 if you purchase before December 31, 2022, and USD$30 after December 31, 2022 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency plus any applicable taxes and fees). Tickets can’t be purchased with PokéCoins and are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas tickets include access to exciting experiences in Sunset Park as well as exclusive event gameplay on either Saturday or Sunday, with an optional add-on allowing you to attend both days. Each event day will feature the same experience. Note that you must be physically in the park to participate in the official gameplay experience, however certain add-ons will be applicable regardless of where you play.
A few days before the event, you’ll receive a medal for participation. When you open the app in the park during event hours on Saturday or Sunday, you’ll receive access to the Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas experience.
There will also be a free, Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Global experience for any Trainers who are not able to attend in-person. This event will be similar to the in-person experience, however with a few notable differences. For more details, see the official site.
To purchase a Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas Ticket:
- In the Map View, tap the Main Menu
- Tap Events
- Tap the Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas image. If tickets are available, a label will appear reading “Tickets Available!”
- Tap the date and time for which you want to attend.
- Select the quantity of tickets you want to purchase.
- Confirm your contact information and enter your payment information.
- You’ll then see a pop-up indicating that you’ve received a ticket for Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas. You will also receive a confirmation email at the email address you entered before payment.
To purchase a Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas Ticket as a Gift:
You are also able to purchase a ticket to Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas as a gift for a friend. Note that you will need their username prior to purchasing a ticket as a gift. You must be Great Friends or higher with any Trainer to whom you wish to gift a ticket.
To purchase a ticket for a friend, simply tap Add on the screen when choosing the quantity of tickets you want to purchase and enter their Trainer name.
You can only purchase tickets for one date and time per order. Once tickets have been purchased for a friend, they are unable to adjust the date and time of their ticket, please confirm with them ahead of making your purchase.
Once you complete your purchase, your friend will receive a notification of your purchase, along with relevant event details.
Purchasing Add-Ons:
After selecting the date and time for your ticket, you are also able to choose from several optional add-ons to enhance or even extend your Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas experience. Ticket add-ons will be active for both days of Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas, even if you are not in the park.
You can select which add-ons you’re interested in purchasing once you’ve selected your ticket type. See more details about the available add-ons on the official site.
Please note that you don’t have to apply add-ons to every user in your order if you’re buying tickets for multiple users.
The deadline to purchase tickets is Sunday, February 19th at 4:00 pm PST. Keep in mind that if you purchase your ticket after the event starts, you may miss out on some of the earlier content. Please be aware of your surroundings and follow guidelines from local health authorities when playing Pokémon GO.
