Changing your avatar pose to the default avatar pose will resolve the white screen issue and you will be able to play normally in Pokémon GO

Some avatar poses cause a white screen in Pokémon GO.

Issue description: Certain avatar poses may result in a white screen and the app must be restarted. This affects GO Battle League Battles, wild Pokémon encounters, Team GO Rocket battles, and Raid Battles.

Issue status: Working on a permanent fix, this issue only affects Trainers on app version 267.1.

Workaround: Changing your avatar pose to the default avatar pose will resolve this issue and you will be able to play normally.

Issue description: Some Trainers battling may see incorrect or missing visuals if their device has not yet downloaded assets after a new update.
Issue status: Investigating. Please use the “download all assets” feature in the settings menu to mitigate this issue.
 
Berries and balls cannot be changed when encountering an Ultra Beast.
Issue description: Some Trainers do not see the ability to change berries or balls when encountering an Ultra Beast in GO Battle League.
Issue status: Investigating.
