Get ready to traverse some treacherous territory in Pokémon GO. Some of the Poison-type and Dragon-type Pokémon appearing during Pokémon GO Fest 2023: New York City will be appearing globally during the Noxious Swamp event! Plus, for the first time, Trainers around the world will be able to encounter Shiny Skrelp—if they’re lucky!

Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time
Wild encounters
The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild. Also, for the first time globally in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Skrelp—if you’re lucky!

Free Timed Research
Timed Research will also be available at no cost. This Timed Research includes tasks focused on raiding and will award encounters with Poison- and Dragon-type Pokémon, including Jangmo-o.
Please note that Timed Research expires. The Timed Research tasks and their rewards will disappear on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
