Go Green for Sustainability Week 2024 in Pokémon GO
Buddy up with your favorite Pokémon to make the most of event bonuses.
Pokémon GO’s Sustainability Week event returns from April 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to April 26, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Trainers will enjoy event bonuses focused on bonding—Buddy Pokémon will bring you Souvenirs and presents more often, spend more time on the map after being fed Berries and Poffins, and earn hearts at half the usual adventure distance. Have an egg-cellent time hatching Eggs, as Pokémon hatched from 2 km Eggs obtained during the event will have a greater chance of being Shiny! Pokémon hatching from 2 km Eggs include Combee, Drilbur, Trubbish, Foongus, and Binacle.
Stay grounded with Field Research tasks to earn encounters with Pokémon such as Combee, Drilbur, Trubbish, Foongus, and Binacle. You’ll also want to catch as many Pokémon as possible to complete event-themed Collection Challenges and earn Stardust and XP! You may even be able to enter some of these Pokémon in event-themed PokéStop Showcases to earn even more Stardust.

- Increased frequency of Buddy Pokémon bringing you Souvenirs and presents.

- The distance to earn buddy hearts will be halved.

Pokémon hatched in 2 km Eggs obtained during this event will have a greater chance of being a Shiny Pokémon than when found in the wild or via Field Research!
