Pokémon GO will celebrate the Harvest Festival with the debut of Shiny Applin from Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. through Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. local time, alongside increased Shiny Smoliv encounters and a new apple-focused gameplay feature. During Harvest Festival: Applin Picking, Mossy Lure Modules will attract apples that can provide Tart Apples, Sweet Apples, Syrupy Apples or encounters with Pokémon including Applin and flower-crown Cottonee, while Applin caught during the event can have an increased chance of holding one of the three apple items through the GO Pass. Players can also encounter Skwovet, Lechonk, Smoliv and Applin in the wild, complete branching Timed Research to choose which apple rewards they receive and progress through the free GO Pass: Harvest Festival for additional bonuses, including longer Mossy Lure Module durations and increased Stardust from Team GO Rocket battles. The paid GO Pass Deluxe will offer additional encounters, apple rewards, Mossy Lure Modules and Super Rocket Radars, with the event also featuring Field Research and other rewards.
