Second official Pokémon GO Community Day now underway in the Americas for three hours, Niantic launches new challenges for participants

The second official Pokémon GO Community Day is currently underway or recently wrapped up in various territories across the globe, including the Americas, the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and Africa. The featured Pokémon for today’s worldwide event is Dratini with an exclusive move, triple Stardust and three-hour Lures. If you evolve the special Dratini into Dragonair and then into Dragonite during Pokémon GO Community Day, your Dragonite will know the special move Draco Meteor. Dratini must be caught or evolved during Pokémon GO Community Day hours in order to learn Draco Meteor; Fast TMs and Charged TMs will not grant exclusive moves during this time.

Shiny Dratini has also made its Pokémon GO debut at the Community Day, and a number of fans have already spotted them in the wild. A special Community Day bundle is now available to purchase via the in-game store for 480 PokéCoins. It is a Silver Box that contains six Lucky Eggs, 20 Pinap Berries, six Star Pieces and 30 Ultra Balls. Pokémon GO developer Niantic has confirmed that there have been a number of service issues impacting gameplay, so it extended the Pokémon GO Community Day by three additional hours throughout the Asia-Pacific region to accommodate.
