The Pokémon Company has officially moved the major Pokémon Center location in Yokohama to Marine City. The updated store is significantly larger than the original and houses a more modern ocean-style theme. To celebrate the new location, The Pokémon Company is hosting a massive campaign from November 9 to December 2, 2018, across all Pokémon Center and Pokémon Store locations throughout Japan. During this period, customers will be able to get exclusive merchandise themed after the renewal, including plushies, charms, Pokémon TCG promo cards, smartphone accessories, keychains, pouches, T-shirts and more. Fans will also be able to take photos alongside official mascot versions of Pikachu. In addition, Pokémon GO players with a Gold Gym Badge will receive a commemorative sticker at no additional cost while supplies last.
