Interacting with Guests

Select a Location and a Help Item to begin an interaction!

Locations are unlocked as Guests’ Friendship Levels increase.

You can obtain Help Items from the Lodge Exchange.

Speaking with Guests

You can earn Friendship Points by selecting a topic you and your Guest can talk about. Accumulating Friendship Points will increase their Friendship Level!

Each Guest has their preferred conversation topics, and the more lively the conversation gets, the more Friendship Points you will earn.

Additionally, the more you interact with them, the more Friendship Points you will receive.

Using Help Items

You can use Help Items to liven up your interactions.

The different types of Help Items are listed below.

  • Insight Specs

Reveals the hot topic of an interaction.

  • Boost Juice

Ensures max vibes when you select a topic that matches your guest’s hot topic during
    an interaction.

  • Dig-It Shovel

Attention drops are reduced by 2 during an interaction. The lowest number this drop can reach is zero.

  • Feel Ring

Topics that match your guest’s hot topic will appear more often during an interaction.

Note: The number of Help Items consumed will be the same as the number of the interactions used.

Note: If you interact with a guest by using all of your interactions, you cannot use Help Items if your remaining inventory is less than the number of interactions that will be used.

Note: You can obtain Help Items mainly from the Exchange Items menu.

Giving Presents to Enhance
Your Interactions

You can restore your Guests’ Attention by giving them presents!

There will also be a bonus applied to the Friendship Points that you receive at the end.

The effects change with the rarity of the present.

You can only give a present once during an interaction, so it’s important to consider the timing!

Note: You can obtain presents mainly from the Exchange Items menu.

Note: You cannot give a present to a guest during Max Vibes.

Note: Presents will differ for each Guest.

Hot Topics and Max Vibes

A Guest’s hot topic is determined for each interaction.

As a Guest’s Friendship Level is raised, there is a chance their hot topic will be revealed at the start of an interaction.

Selecting a topic that matches a guest’s hot topic will halve Attention drops and may activate Max Vibes.

During Max Vibes, the amount of Friendship Points earned will be doubled, and your guest’s Attention won’t drop!

Also, an interaction will not end during Max Vibes.

Guests might be interested in one of the following 7 hot topics:

  • Pokémon
  • Items
  • Friends
  • Hobbies
  • Fashion
  • Places
  • Other

Extending Interactions

Attention drops as an interaction continues, increasing the chance that the interaction will end.

Try to keep Attention as high as possible by giving presents or selecting topics that match the current hot topic!

The longer an interaction continues, the more likely the Guest’s Attention will drop.
