The Game Boy is now officially 30 years old

It’s been 30 years since the release of the original Game Boy. Gaming fans are celebrating the first handheld device in the Game Boy line on the 30th anniversary of its release.

As of April 21, 2019, the Game Boy is officially three decades old! In case you couldn’t tell, some of our favorite games on the classic handheld include Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Yellow… and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Tetris, Super Mario Land, Kirby’s Dream Land, etc. Too many to count!
